We liked the position of the hotel, the proximity to all the major atractions of Istanbul.
We didn't like the poor breakfast.
The premise was spotless and comfortable, it was new being only 2 months old. The location was very strategic and just minutes away from the must see sights of Istanbul old city. The traffic is light and therefore quiet and restful. Taxis are plentiful and public transportation is not far. Excellent location and felt quite safe staying there. The friendly staff did all they could to meet your needs.
The staff was awesome. The location was superb, and rooms were very clean. I was a single traveler, so my room was small, but beautifully appointed, nice bathroom, refrigerator, storage, comfortable bed. The restuaurant food was excellent and came with a 15% discount for those staying in the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.
small hotel in perfect position to visit turistico area, it is in the middle of everything
Great location, very cool staff and helpful, comfortable and very clean
bad breakfast very small room, don't have room service and don't have lift in hotel
Note 10 . Excellent new hotel.Perfect location.Owners Ulus and Mehmet youngs and very highly educated, polite and ready to help with everything including very good places for shopping with real and very good prices. Also Ulus brother very nice and high educated man.I Recommend to talk direct with owners for absolutely anything.Very good restaurant with 15% discount for hotel clients and rich breakfast. Note 10
The hotel had a superb location, just a few steps from the Blue Mosk and Hagia Sophia. Nearly all major tourist attractions are within walking distance. Very friendly staff, eager to help and fluent in English. The room was cleaned every day. Nice flatscreen TV. Beautiful views of the Blue Mosk from the room/balcony. There is also a decent restaurant downstairs. The AC is fully functional.
So in general a very good hotel with few things that may need to be improved. Almost no variation in breakfast. The door handle to the bathroom was broken throughout our visit. The room does appear to be larger in the online pictures than it really is. No elevator (but helpful staff). The restaurant is rather expensive compared to surrounding establishments and there is no price cut for guests of the hotel (but food was indeed scrumptious).
This is a fabulous new hotel! The photos you see on this site are real and have not been photoshopped!! The location is perfect, and Mehmet and his crew are super friendly and eager to help. I recommend you pay extra for a balcony view room of the blue mosque (room 301) as the roof terrace is not complete. I strongly recommend this hotel, you will not be disappointed.
The room cleaning the position
Great location, nice clean rooms and most important - very cool staff.
The staff was very nice and helpful, rooms were clean and including everything you need.
I really enjoyed my stay at Charm. It was a new open hotel, just 2 weeks before our trip, so all was new, clean, perfumed. The furniture is nice and simple, but particular, so it gives the room a special atmosphere. The bathroom was ok, not big but not small either, it was ok for 2 persons. The breakfast was good and rich (for my tastes at least)..tea, coffee, french fries or omelette, cheese, olives, sausages, tomatoes, boiled egg, cucumber, honey, jam, chocolate..it was everything. The guys there are doing everything for you, they speak good english and can help you with advice and information. The location is right behind the Blue Mosque.
Nothing to complain about, really (maybe only that they didn't change us the toilet paper when finished, but anyway it was the last day..haha)
It was brand new, comfortable and very clean and a decent size for price and Istanbul. Decent value.
The roof terrace wasn't open yet and I wanted to be able to enjoy the view.
We had a fantastic holiday, thanks also to the staff of the Hotel! The hotel's location is perfect, all the principal places are reachable by foot, tram stop is also nearby. The room is clean, cute and bright. We really had a wonderful holiday :-)
There isn't much to say. The real advantage of this hotel is the location. Charm hotel is within walking distance from the main attractions as: Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Cemberlitas public bath or Cistern Church. Also, I liked the staff. They were very kind and helpful.
The hotel provides very small spaces. The room is small, the lobby is around 4 square meters, stairs are very tight, and the restaurant is small too. We lived at the top floor (the third one) and there is no elevator. The hotel was built and furbished with a very economic budget. All the amenities are looking good (because they are new), but in fact they are very cheap and I estimate that soon they will look in a bad condition. We had a problem with the heater too, who didn't work properly. We used the air con for heating. The hotel doesn't have a classical star classification. For me the things looks like the young brothers, who own the hotel, wanted very much to start this business and they really struggle for everyone to feels excellent in their hotel, but they built everything with a very small budget (mostly probably due to their limited funds).
